No matter where you are, you are welcome to join Paul for online Zoom meditation classes with South Shore Meditation Center, including a weekly Wednesday evening meditation group. This is an opportunity to participate in group sangha from your home, no matter where you live.

All levels welcome. A genuine meditation practice with others, offered online &/or at South Shore Insight Meditation Center’s cosy location in Plymouth, MA. Sitting, walking, moving and a period of cultivating wisdom through Q&A. For all current classes and workshops on Buddhism and the Dhamma (in the Pali language), or Dharma (Sanskrit), it is best to sign up for SSIMC's email list from the home page.

Deliberate and slow movements in support of meditation and insight of our entire being. Is that few minutes of meditation at the end of your asana class evaporating once you open the door? Practice meditation for a more appropriate time. The “yoga script” is flipped: mediation is most of the practice. Time for Q&A. All welcome. Mats and chairs provided but feel free to use your own. Registration required.

Mindfulness is rapidly becoming a buzzword the world is intrigued by and interested in understanding. Come learn what mindfulness is from Paul Cheevers, an experienced mediation teacher, as he talks about his new book Mindfuling...DIY. Paul is co-founder of South Shore Insight Meditation Center located in Hanover, MA, and has taught meditation and practiced various form of meditation for decades. Registration required. Open Studios
Sandpaper Factory, 83 East Water St, Rockland, MA

The 4th Floor Artists group opens their working studios in two buildings, featuring over 100 artists. Works on display include paintings, sculpture, mixed media, printmaking, photography, jewelry, fiber art, woodworking, soap making, pottery and so much more. Enjoy live music, art demonstrations, kids art tables, refreshments, free parking, free admittance, shopping small makers, and lots of fun. Stop by Paul’s studio and say hello.

Weekend Retreat: Infinite Nature
South Shore Insight Meditation Center (SSIMC.org)

Infinite Nature, a non-residential weekend retreat exploring the internal and external understanding of nature, is open to individuals with retreat experience. This is a unique opportunity for participants with a serious interest and familiarity in practicing Insight meditation within the framework of the Eightfold Path to practice alongside the group enrolled in our long-term Mindfulness and Profession (MAP) program. Continuing practice at home, outside of the formal retreat time, is integral to this retreat.

Workshop: Meditation Practices from the World’s Spiritual Traditions
Cole Memorial Chapel at Wheaton College, Norton, MA

An interspiritual workshop on the meditation practices of five spiritual traditions. Buddhist, Sufi, Hindu, Christian, and Jewish teachers will introduce and lead a meditation practice, then allow time for inquiry. All are welcome. Teachers: Dr. Mark Russo (Judaism), Paul Cheevers (Buddhism), David Agdern (Hinduism), Naima Brown (Sufism), Darrell Blackwell (Christianity). Free. Parking: Park in Lot 2 / Elm Street, across from campus. Use the crosswalk on Route 123. The Chapel is close by.
